Tapes have become a key part of the underground music scene, with many moving releases seeing their only physical release on tape (due to the costs and clunkiness of vinyl).
Listening to music on tape, where you can’t really skip from track to track, adds a level of presence with the music that most other formats don’t offer in the same way (which is mightily important in this low-attention age).
So Speckle begins to offer TapeScape, a focused listening session where we play three choice tapes from the dreamy ambient terrain.
